What I wore: Jeans: Loft, White Tee: H&M, Black Sandals: Frye, Scarf: Loft. Bag: Longchamp Le Pliage large tote in Bilberry

I spent my summer in Seattle so while there I took a quick Weekend trip to Victoria British Columbia!

I booked this trip through Viator (they are the best)! It was honestly the best deal I’ve come across when booking trips. For roundtrip transportation a tour and hotel stay, everything was under $300!

Where to stay: I would recommend staying close to the ferry port because that’s where everything is and it really is all walking distance.

What to do: Since I was there for such a short time. I chose to do probably the most popular attraction, The Butchart Gardens. This place is like a little piece of a story book. It seems like they have every flower in the universe and you can honestly spend a full day walking around and getting lost in the flowers. I spent a few hours here and had a quick lunch. If you plan to be here for more than an hour or so bring good walking shoes. Obviously bring a camera or a phone because you won’t want to miss the amazing picture opportunities!

Victoria in itself is just the most gorgeous place. It’s the perfect place to go if you want to just escape for a weekend. There are lots of really cute shops that sell everything from local T-shirts, Leather bags, Jewelry and more ( yes I did splurge on a gold ring and a leather sling). If you take the ferry and stay in a hotel walking distance you can walk to pretty much everything which is perfect because you can take in the sites as your walking to your destination and make little stops along the way.

If you decide to take a little trip here you absolutely must have brunch at the Blue Fox Cafe! I didn’t become much of a brunch person until I went to Seattle ( I know right, say it ain’t so!)  but this place made me an addict, everything from the scrambled eggs and french toast, to the best mimosa in the universe (seriously the rim is covered in cinnimon guys!)  I have yet to find another place like this one. My recommendation would be to make a reservation because this place is no longer a hidden gem and you will have to wait in line. I waited about 45-1hr. It was definitely worth it and to be honest I would do it all over again for one of those mimosas!

How I got there: Because I was staying in Seattle I took the Ferry which was about a 3 hour ride one way. I would recommend this r taking the helicopter ride if your close enough to do so. So if your staying in Seattle or Vancouver these are pretty cool alternatives to your average plane ride.

I really hope you guys try and visit this place at some point you won’t regret it! Who’s ready for a getaway?

XOXO
