During these crazy times, it’s nice to get in a little change of scenery even if it’s in your own hometown. It’s fair to say I love a good insta photo so I’m here to share these little gems with you guys!
First up: Love Lock Bridge.. Okay, so if you’ve ever been to Paris, France you’ve probably heard about “love lock bridge” well same thing but instead of being over the River Seine with a view of Notre Dame, it’s over the freeway with a view of the Houston Skyline, not as romantic and movie like but since we can’t travel right now this is a fun local outing with your favorite person or friends! Just go pick up a lock from your local Target or Walmart and grab a sharpie to write a message on your lock. You can park along the park walking and biking trail and walk over to bridge from there. Parking is free on Sunday.
Next up: Smither Park… This place is awesome! It’s no secret that Houston is known for its art scene and this cool spot is a great reflection of that! If you love color and creativity you’ll love these art installations made out of tiled mosaic and other unique materials!
